bah... agree with orihime :( wish i had 5 lives (or more!). experience 5 childhoods, 5 secondary school lives, 5 teenage lives, 5 jobs, 5 cultures, 5 lifestyles, 5 communities...
bahhhhh. this insight is a key source of frustration. empathizing with so much but only truly experiencing so little. it makes me want to try so many things! and of course, with the little time i have, that means i hardly have time to excel at anything. to fully immerse yourself in a single talent or area of expertise... such ignorant bliss!
an amalgam of nostalgia for the good times, regret for the times that could have been better, envy for those who live, resignation for there being no other way, contentment for the experiences that i've had, excitement for what the future will hold, and above all, hope for wonderful times ahead. yup that's a much more holistic picture than what the word "angst" can ever be.
